This design came about because of a need for a sailing dinghy capable of carrying skipper and his family and also able to be used as a general purpose boat with an outboard motor for fishing etc. The design is double chine and construction is lapped plywood with similar construction to the Scooter family of designs. This construction method is particularly suitable for a part time builder working alone.
