This is a "Sea Sled" design in aluminium alloy on alloy frames. The story of the sea sleds, first devised by W.A.Hickman in the early days of the last century is fascinating. In this type of hull it is possible to have a hull form with excellent seakeeping stability at speed, and the added bonus of low power requirements, which means low expenditure on outboard motors and fuel.
