Designed originally for my own use after owning two other Trailable Yachts, I have since built two of these fine little yachts - “Bushranger VI’ and “Captain Moonlite”. Construction is in Triaxial GRP using Vinylester resin over an 8mm Klegecell core. I have raced her weekly since launching and cruised extensively in Queensland and Victorian waters. She is virtually indestructable and a proven race winner. She uses internal ballast and a relatively light lifting keel of GRP/Plywood/ Lead composite construction. She has a very high self righting index and is rarely reefed. Please excuse me saying she is a great boat. Plans are in Imperial units. Drawings are currently (Dec 06) in course of preparation for a strip planked GRP sheathed version.
