21ft Classic I/B Runabout
While you won’t have to be a millionaire to own one of these beautiful vessels, the builder reckons millionaires will want to own one, and any one will feel like a millionaire when afloat in her. This is another Custom design for Ashley Cranfield of Victor Harbour SA, who made such a wonderful job of Kashmir pictured elsewhere on this site. She has classic lines with tumble home stern sections, a raked and curved transom and strong flare in the topsides foreward.
Construction is now complete and she will be launched in February 2009 at Glenelg. She is yet another example of Ashley's craftsmanship.

Sceeter
Random conversations with people who sell small yachts described as "...intermediate performance dinghies for the young and the young at heart .....", dry up like the bottom of a thirsty man’s glass when the price is mentioned, less sails of course!!!
This design is an attempt to attract normal people on a normal budget to attempt to devise a boat which teenagers and parents can build and sail together with some performance and thrills to keep the youngsters out of the Taverns where the surfing press gangs may sign them up for ever to that summer pursuit and perhaps worse too.
On paper and in the render view, rolled across the screen, the Lines seem to leap on the plane, and imagination soars as the crew goes whooping and hollering past their former competitors under the asymmetric kite with crew on trapeze. Most drawing sheets are now started, analysis is complete and how to build instructions are almost finished. LOA: 4360; Beam:1680; Design Mass: 78Kg. Building of a prototype is expected to commence in March.

Scamander
This design is a double chine Trailable yacht of plywood stitch and glue construction. She was inspired by conversations with John Garde of Tasmania who enquired about a basic economic design using modern materials to use in the Derwent Estuary and the D’Entrecasteaux Channel . Lines and hydrostatic analysis and stability analysis are now complete. Few weeks away.

26ft Strip planked Trailable yacht
This is an ambitious first larger boat for Stephen Maloney who has built some absolutely lovely strip planked kayaks. He now wants to take his toothbrush with him when he goes cruising so needs a larger vessel. Concept sketches completed and we are awaiting a response from a busy man.
